Ambition , Asynchrony and Life !

Only difference between socio-economic life of
the past and the current has always been the amount
of Asynchrony one needs to handle in a average day.

By nature,we have got propensity to be in a state of
intertia and psychologically, Asynchrony is very tiresome
and takes away the bulk of our energy.

If you are ambitious , then out of order execution of activities
are the norm. Will-full "poverty" is a good solution to this
problem. By poverty what I meant was not trying to
maximize your odds.

I have been observing people up-close on this matter for
quite some time. In a resource hungry ( shortage ) world,
there is no way out of this problem for all.

Should you "speculate" about how things are ?

Recently,there was a discussion about Domain
Knowledge,\ with some of my friends. The group
consisted of Business Analysts,Software Testers,
Programmers , Architects and a Network Admin.

Some of them were of the opinion that we should
have "absolute" knowledge of things before speaking
about how stuff works generally ( in a domain ).

A Friend and I had certain objection to the above
view points. Since a domain has got multiple entities
( with each of them having a certain perspective ) and
interactions ( collaboration/workflow ) with different
entities as  focal points,it is hard to understand the
exact semantics of each business activity.

Speculate based on plausibility. People who has
got real knowledge ( specialists ) will help us
correct our "mistaken" notion,if any.

Why we require Ontology ?

Too often we get embroiled in debates which
we did not have any plan to participate. Soon,
things can go out of our hands.

Too often,the debates reach no where because
of the lack of a proper ontology.


Ontology deals with questions concerning what 
entities exist or can be said to exist, and how such
entities can be grouped, related within a hierarchy, 
and subdivided according to similarities and
differences.

Without proper ontology,most debates remain
inconclusive.

When there is time..weather is not fine...

When weather is fine ...time is not there...

Misery of a (wo)man is always a constant

I danced in the street of Copenhagen

Yesterday,while returning from the office, a
square near our hotel is one of  the venue for
Copenhagen carnival. I placed my belongings
in the hotel room and ran back to the town
square.

People flock in to the venue (at a fixed time-slot)
with all sorts of musical instruments. Then, artists
danced to the tune of songs.

All kinds of stuff which you see in movies were
performed by artists.

As the event progressed,people around me
started dancing as well. Some of them,Invited
me to dance with them.

After initial reluctance,I threw myself in to the
cacophony. I danced with French,Spanish,
Pakistani,Danish and Russian people

I enacted couple of Chiranjeevi and Dhanush
"tricks" which became a sort of hit among the
people around us. Even my "jealous" colleagues
had to admit that I performed well.Some even
thanked me for my energy levels.Around 1.00 am ,
I slept for close to 11 hrs to get back into senses.

The Biggest Enemies of ISLAM ?

The biggest enemy of ISLAM are it's followers
,who "believe" that their faith is the only true
faith.

There is nothing wrong in having pride about
one's belief system. The problem
stems from the fact that they are "irritatingly"
assertive about the supremacy of their
faith.

They use conversion of famous personalities
as a proof of this. Sometimes,these people
do not hesitate to assign great names with
their religion.

I am sick of hearing this and people who
criticize these "devout" followers are always
threatened.

I think , only some force within the followers
can make these people "sane".

Sreesanth - unfortunate tragedy

One has to agree to one fact. Santhakumaran
Sreesanth is the only cricketer from Kerala
who has made his mark at the International
level.

He has played well in one day ( as a wicket
taker, even though on the expensive side ) and
a fantastic test bowler.

I think, as a person from Kerala , I still salute him
for his cricketing skills. He is gutsy , a good dancer
and a fighter as well.

Keralites were jealous about him .

Unfortunately,his career might end all of a sudden
because of the match fixing allegation.

RIP , SreeSanth's Cricketing career.

How are girls in Denmark ?

Prem and Tilak went for an onsite visit
to the city of  Copenhagen.

Prem => "Girls here are really good
looking ..."

Tilak =>"Ya...I also noticed it ..."

Prem => "They are blonde too...."

Tilak =>"But,with every blonde woman,
there is a white man..that is the problem...!"

A "curious" phenomena which happens everywhere

Some of us ( my colleagues and I ) have decided
to go the Oslo from Copenhagen,on a cruise

As we are having a long weekend here,the bookings
will be full. But,none of the people who did show initial
enthusiasm has not responded yet.

May be , It will take up-til Thursday for things to pick
up it's momentum. I do not know whether we will
go this week.

But,that brings the context for presenting a phenomena
which I have observed,

"Plan the stuff ahead. Execute it very late. In retrospect,
make yourself believe that it was great. The statement,
'We would have missed all the action' is the visible 
manifestation of this"

An "racist" article by a "Xian"

I happen to see on my facebook timeline
, an article about "epic" struggle of a person
who happens to get  Phd.

But, like a typical "apologetic" Xian,
he did not forget to write the following

"MSc കഴിഞ്ഞയുടനെ Ph.Dയ്ക്ക് 
Bombay IIT-യിൽ അഡ്മിഷൻ 
കിട്ടിയെങ്കിലും, ജാതിയിൽ
ബ്രാഹ്മണനല്ലാതിരുന്നതുകൊണ്ട്
ഗൈഡിനെ കിട്ടിയില്ല. അതില്‍പ്പിന്നെ
ഇന്ത്യൻ സ്ഥാപനങ്ങളിൽ അപ്ലൈ 
ചെയ്യുന്നത് നിർത്തി"

I think,he is a sick fellow from the "gutter". This
is  a classic case of anti-brahmin mentality.
